So far through out my life i haven’t really had to deal with a lot of prejudice. i guess i was one of the lucky ones. But i do remember this one time i went to my moms boyfriends house for the superbowl 6 years ago.
I remember all the grown ups were downstairs watching the stupid football game and my mom was one of the ladies that wasn’t even interested. I was hanging out with this boy a few years older than me,my moms boyfriends son. He didnt want anything to do with me so i pretty much just played with the hot wheeles scattered on the floor. Then 3 other boys came over and they started jumping on the tramp out back. I really wasn’t having fun and the super bowl would go on for another few hours so i decided to make some friends in the meantime. Well once i started jumping they all left so being the 10 year old i was i followed. i went inside andthey started bombarding me with stupid names. They made fun of me because i was a girl which meant that i couldnt do anything so i decided to prove them wrong. This is when all the ruckus started to happen. I ended up boxing this bigger kid and before i knew it i threw a few nice punches but then all his buddies ganged up on me . a few minutes later i had a bloody lip and they were at someones elses house. i told my mom when it happend but she didn’t really say anything she told her bf. he said he would “talk to them”. good news for me, my mom didnt stay with her boyfriend for much longer. Sometimes it sucks being a girl.

hilary i can so see you boxing a boy for some reason lol….but that sucks that they wouldnt play with you because you were a girl.
